THE RIGHT COACH.

The fastest man in the world, Usain Bolt has a coach
What on earth does he need a coach for?
Afterall, he is at the pinnacle of his career He has a coach so he can stay on top, so he can dig deeper
In fact all the top great athletes and successful people I know have a coach
So why are you letting your child navigate their academic life without one?

Why are you letting them work aimlessly without some guidance
Don’t get in twisted, their teacher at school is more of a manager than their coach
A manager is paid to get the job done
The job of the manager, in this case your child’s teacher cannot be underestimated in anyway or form
But a coach will do more, they will inspire you to want to push and do more than the manager can
In some cases, your child’s school teacher will double up as their manager and coach
But this will happen by chance, why leave it to chance
In businesses, for a business owner to be successful they need to be both a strong coach and manager to get their team on board with working towards their vision of success.

The coaching aspect is about getting people to comprehend and believe in the vision you set for the company and to work with you on achieving those goals, while management is more about administering and making sure the day-to-day activities are happening as they should.
I have a coach for almost every area of my life
I have a spiritual coach, a business coach, a nutrition coach, a fitness coach, a life coach and a hair coach.
I bet I have a few eyebrow raises with the hair coach….let me explain…my hairdresser is different from my hair coach
My hairdresser gets my hair done or styled for a particular day or styled for a particular occasion.
My hairdresser is my hair manager, but my hair coach digs deeper.
My hair coach hardly touches my hair, she shows me the best hair techniques, recommends things to include in my diet and the best products for my hair texture. She sets goals for me to achieve before our next meeting. I see my coach less often than my hairdresser If you are familiar with Afro hair, you will understand why I need a hair coach.
I leave my hair coach’s appointment with sometimes 3 lots of A4 paper spilling with notes, I’ve learnt to take a notebook now.
Enough of the hair talk
