Tecnis Academy is an independent tutoring organisation delivering high-quality education for children aged 3 to 18 years. We offer both in-person and online tutoring, with programmes covering:

We are currently recruiting tutors across the UK and the USA.

  • UK Tutors: Based in the United Kingdom for both online and face-to-face tutoring.
  • USA Tutors: Based in the United States for online tutoring, following the U.S. curriculum. 
  • SEN Tutors: Based in Medway, Kent (UK) for face-to-face sessions supporting neurodivergent learners.

Online Tutors & Face-to-Face Tutors 

(Chatham & Sittingbourne)

Role Overview: You will deliver engaging and supportive lessons in English, Maths or Science, helping students achieve academic success and develop independent learning skills.


Responsibilities

  • Teach interactive sessions either online or in person.

  • Support pupils’ confidence and encourage curiosity.

  • Follow our structured Scheme of Work while adapting lessons to suit individual learning needs.

Communicate regularly with parents and staff to review progress.

 Session Times

We support all major math curriculum areas for K–12, including:

  • Online: Monday – Sunday (flexible hours).
  • Face-to-face: Monday – Friday from 4 p.m. onwards; weekend sessions available throughout the day.

Applicants must be based in the UK and available for both online tutoring and face-to-face tutoring in our Chatham or Sittingbourne centres.

SEN Tutors (Medway Face-to-Face Tutoring)

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to support children with special educational needs (SEN). This rewarding role involves one-to-one assistance, helping students achieve their learning goals and fostering emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalised 1:1 support for children with SEN.
  • Adapt learning materials and teaching strategies.
  • Work closely with teachers and professionals to track progress.
  • Encourage independence and social development.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with children (education or care setting).
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs.
  • No prior teaching experience required; full training provided.

Applicants must be based in Medway, Kent (UK) and passionate about supporting students with special educational needs.

Online Tutors (USA Programme)

We also have vacancies for online tutors supporting students in the USA curriculum (English, Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics & SAT Preparation). Teach remotely, from anywhere, while empowering learners across the globe.

Ideal for: Graduates or undergraduates familiar with the U.S. curriculum who are passionate about education and flexible online work.

Applicants must be based in the United States, familiar with the U.S. curriculum, and available to teach remotely.
