8-WEEK Phonic Stars Club (PSC)

Tecnis Academy Early Reading Club aims to support young readers with the building blocks they need to become confident in not only the word decoding skills but also the comprehension skills they need to become proficient readers. We revise and build on the phonics teaching children receive at school and support children to apply this knowledge to help them read first individual words, then sentences and finally short stories. We do this with games, activities and songs which will keep the children engaged in their learning and foster a positive lifelong relationship with reading.
